Terms of Service

Welcome to CrowdPilot ("the App"). By accessing or using CrowdPilot you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Beta Programme

CrowdPilot is currently in private beta. Access is by invitation only. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice, and we may revoke beta access at our discretion. The App is provided for testing and feedback purposes; it is not intended for critical or commercial use.

2. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your needs.

3. AI-Generated Content

Song suggestions, setlist recommendations, and coach feedback are generated by AI (Anthropic Claude). This content is advisory only. You are solely responsible for the setlists you perform and any decisions you make based on AI suggestions.

4. Song Metadata & Copyright

CrowdPilot uses Apple's iTunes Search API to retrieve publicly available song metadata (titles, artists, and durations). We do not store, host, or distribute any audio, lyrics, or copyrighted material. All song titles, artist names, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. CrowdPilot makes no claim of ownership over any song data.

You are responsible for ensuring that your live performances comply with applicable music licensing requirements in your jurisdiction (e.g. PRS, SOCAN, ASCAP, BMI licences).

5. Your Data

Setlist data and gig settings you create are stored locally in your browser and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. You own your data entirely. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Abuse, overload, or attempt to reverse-engineer the App or its APIs;
Share your beta access code publicly;
Use the App for any unlawful purpose;
Attempt to circumvent the beta access gate.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CrowdPilot and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
