This policy explains what data CrowdPilot collects, how it is used, and your rights. We've kept it short because there genuinely isn't much to say — we collect very little.
CrowdPilot does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifying information.
When you enter a valid beta code, a cookie named cp_beta is set on your device. It contains only the value 1 — it identifies you as an authorised beta user and has no personal information. It expires after 30 days.
Songs, setlists, and gig settings you create are stored in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
When you use AI features (set building, coach, "Fix my set"), your gig settings and song metadata are sent to Anthropic to generate responses. This data is processed under Anthropic's Privacy Policy. We do not send any personally identifying information to Anthropic.
When you search for a song to add, your search query is sent to Apple's iTunes Search API. This is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not store your search queries.
Our hosting provider (Vercel) may retain standard server access logs (IP addresses, request timestamps, response codes) for a limited period for security and debugging purposes. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
The only data we process is what is necessary to operate the App — validating beta access and forwarding AI queries. We do not sell, share, or monetise any data. We do not use advertising or tracking technologies.
Because we don't store personal data on our servers, there is nothing to delete on our end. To remove your session data, clear your browser's local storage and cookies for this site. The beta access cookie can be deleted from your browser settings at any time.
If you are in the UK or EU, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, and portability. Because we hold no personal data about you, most of these rights are satisfied automatically. If you have a specific request, contact us via the channel provided with your beta invitation.
CrowdPilot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
